Job Description
Diversified is hiring for a Reach Truck Operators in a 3PL distribution center who are precision specialists responsible for inventory flow. You will operate high-reach, stand-up forklifts to manage vertical storage in high-bay, narrow-aisle racking. Core duties include put-aways, replenishing pick lines, and maintaining tight inventory accuracy to meet fast-paced, client-driven supply chain goals.

Schedule: 8:30am-5pm, Monday- Friday
Hourly Pay: $19

Key Responsibilities
  • High-Bay Operations: Operate stand-up reach trucks to retrieve, store, and stack pallets at high heights (often exceeding 25-35 feet) in narrow-aisle configurations.
  • Order Picking & Replenishment: Pull products for outbound customer orders and efficiently move backup inventory from bulk storage to permanent pick slots.
  • Loading & Unloading: Assist in receiving, staging, and loading inbound/outbound freight on trailers or floor-loaded containers.
  • Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts, audit pallets for accurate SKU and quantity matches, and report discrepancies.
  • WMS & Scanning: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to digitally record inventory moves, locations, and pick verifications.
  • Safety & Maintenance: Conduct thorough daily pre-shift inspections of equipment, report mechanical defects, and change/water batteries.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: Typically requires 1 to 3+ years of verifiable stand-up reach truck experience in a fast-paced warehouse or 3PL environment.
  • Certifications: Valid in-house or OSHA-compliant forklift certification is usually required.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Stand or sit for extended periods, and comfortably navigate confined and congested workspaces.
  • Spatial Awareness: High spatial awareness to maneuver safely through high-traffic zones without striking racking, products, or sprinkler systems.
  • Tech Skills: Familiarity with digital warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Manhattan) and handheld barcode devices.
Work Environment
  • Schedule: 3PL facilities often require flexibility for overtime, weekends, and peak seasonal shifts.
  • Conditions: Work is typically indoors, though environments may vary from climate-controlled to non-climate-controlled (subject to seasonal heat/cold)
