We are seeking a passionate, organized, and patient-focused Front Desk Receptionist / Patient Coordinator to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities
Patient Experience & Front Desk Operations • Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes • Maintain accurate patient charts and records • Build strong, trusting relationships with patients and families • Deliver exceptional customer service at every patient interaction
Scheduling & Office Coordination • Manage and optimize daily patient and provider schedules • Coordinate appointments and treatment timelines • Participate in daily morning huddles to support patient flow and office efficiency
Insurance & Financial Coordination • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits • Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims • Collect co-pays and patient payments • Support basic financial reporting and payment reconciliation
Treatment Coordination & Case Management • Assist with treatment planning and patient case management • Educate patients on recommended treatment options • Clearly communicate treatment costs and financial responsibilities
Patient Communication • Handle a high volume of incoming phone calls and emails • Respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail • Ensure timely and accurate communication with patients and team members
Qualifications
Required
• 1–3 years of experience in hospitality, luxury retail, customer service, sales, healthcare, or medical office environments • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting • Comfortable handling a medium-to-high volume of patient phone calls • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities • Proven ability to build rapport and create positive relationships • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Ability to quickly learn new software and systems
Preferred
• Previous dental office experience as a Front Office Coordinator, Patient Coordinator, or Dental Assistant • Experience with dental insurance verification and claims processing • Familiarity with treatment planning and patient coordination • Active Dental X-Ray License • Interest in Dental Assisting and Sedation Care support • Experience building treatment plans and discussing treatment costs with patients
