Speech Language Pathologist in Avon Park, FL

A fulfilling opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support early learners in a PreK setting. This contract-based, part-time position offers a maximum of 25 hours per week, all conducted on-site for hands-on involvement.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing direct speech-language therapy to PreK students in a supportive, engaging environment
• Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to young children’s needs
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student development
• Maintaining accurate records of student progress, session notes, and communications
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings when necessary
• Staying current with best practices and relevant educational compliance requirements

Qualifications and background:

• Active SLP license and CCC certification
• Previous experience working with preschool-age children preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques for young learners
• Commitment to providing services in person as required for this role
