What you'll do:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy sessions targeting communication goals to help students thrive academically and socially.
  • Closely monitor and document progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to ensure coordinated, holistic support for students.
  • Educate and involve families in their child's therapy process, fostering greater carryover and understanding.

Minimum qualifications for this role:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Holds (or is eligible for) a current state license in speech-language pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred, though strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Prior experience with pediatric/school-aged populations is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
