Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in school settings is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to build positive rapport with students, families, and school personnel.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for students across various grade levels.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet each student’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, progress reports, and IEP meetings in accordance with school and district standards.
- Provide direct and consultative services, both individually and in small groups.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute actively to the school community.
