Occupational Therapist

Job description

Responsibilities:
\n - Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and developmental capabilities to determine appropriate treatment plans
\n - Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients achieve their goals
\n - Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and daily living activities
\n - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
\n - Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
\n - Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence and safety
\n - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications:
\n - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
\n - Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
\n - Experience in speech therapy, case management, or working in a hospital setting is preferred
\n - Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to occupational therapy
\n - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
\n - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
