Quality Control Technician (Lab)

We're looking for an experienced Quality Control Laboratory Technician who is passionate about quality, accuracy, and maintaining the highest food safety standards.

Location: Stockton, CA

Pay: $26/hourly

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Perform quality testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
• Conduct laboratory testing including moisture, acidity, color, and other quality analyses
• Record and maintain accurate laboratory documentation and quality reports
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing
• Collect and prepare production samples for analysis
• Support food safety, GMP, GLP, and quality compliance programs
• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to investigate and resolve quality concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
  

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of laboratory experience in food manufacturing, edible oils, chemical manufacturing, or a similar production environment
• Experience using laboratory testing equipment
• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, quality systems, and food safety procedures
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  

Preferred:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field
• Experience with edible oils, fats, or food quality testing
• Knowledge of AOCS testing methods or food industry regulations (FSMA, Kosher, Halal)
