Part-Time Field Survey Technician

Pay: $18-$25/Hr

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable and self-motivated Field Survey Technicians to support annual facility light surveys for banking locations throughout the East Coast. This role is ideal for individuals looking for consistent part-time work with a flexible schedule. Technicians will travel to bank branches within their assigned region to conduct on-site lighting surveys and document findings.

Survey assignments will be distributed throughout the year, averaging 1–2 surveys per week, with each survey requiring approximately 5–6 hours total, including travel time. Candidates should expect to work approximately 10–20 hours per week depending on project volume.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned banking locations within your region to perform lighting surveys.
• Conduct site assessments and collect required survey data according to established procedures.
• Document findings accurately and submit completed survey reports in a timely manner.
• Coordinate scheduling of surveys to ensure completion within required project timelines.
• Maintain professional communication with project managers and site contacts.
• Follow all safety and client-specific requirements while on-site.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 1.5–2 hours to survey locations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow survey procedures.
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic proficiency with smartphones, tablets, or laptops for data collection and reporting.
• Previous field service, facilities, inspection, surveying, maintenance, or site audit experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule & Travel

• Flexible scheduling with surveys needing to be completed within two weeks of assignment.
• Most surveys will be performed during evening or nighttime hours.
• Typical workload consists of 1–2 surveys per week.
• Average survey duration: 5–6 hours including travel.

Compensation & Reimbursement

• Hourly compensation for survey and travel time.
• Mileage reimbursement provided for approved travel.
• Occasional airfare and travel expenses covered when project requirements necessitate long-distance travel.
