Job Description
Must be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB or hold Nuclear Medicine certification ARRT(N) and have a minimium of 1+ years Nuclear Medicine experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Specializing in both Nuclear Medicine and MRI procedures, this key role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic imaging environment on a contract basis. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to high-quality patient care through expert imaging services.
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time contract position (specific schedule discussed during interview process)
Qualifications:
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB or ARRT-N)
- Registered MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR)
- Valid state licensure as required for practice
- Previous hospital or clinical imaging experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with nuclear medicine equipment and MRI scanners
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform and analyze a wide range of nuclear medicine and MRI procedures
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and adherence to safety protocols
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals or contrast agents as required
- Assist physicians in the interpretation of imaging studies
- Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and report malfunctions
- Keep accurate patient records and follow privacy regulations
- Educate and guide patients throughout imaging processes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
