Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active California SLP License required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (SLP-CFY) candidates encouraged
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings highly valued
- Strong clinical skills in speech, language, and communication development
- Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary and middle school students
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to maximize student success
- Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and ongoing professional development
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
