Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Watsonville, California

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California SLP License (CCC or CFY accepted)
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech therapy
• Competence with assessments, IEP development, and documentation
• Ability to work with students from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary and middle school students, individually and in small groups
• Conduct screenings, formal evaluations, and ongoing progress monitoring
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student goals and generalization of skills
• Maintain accurate records, contribute to meetings, and ensure timely completion of documentation
• Participate in professional development to stay current with research and best practices
