Job Description
Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving Early Intervention and K-12 learners. Schools near New Oxford, Pennsylvania, are seeking three dedicated SLPs for onsite contract roles supporting students across various age groups and needs. No remote or virtual placements are available for these openings.
Multiple in-person opportunities are available:
- Two SLPs will work with North Eastern School District students in elementary schools from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. You’ll serve approximately 50-55 students across two locations, providing services for both regular education and autistic support populations, and assisting with some case management duties.
- One SLP will focus on Early Intervention, supporting preschool-aged children (ages 3-5) with special education needs in New Oxford/Gettysburg area. This role follows a year-round schedule with school breaks and includes dedicated time each week for paperwork and administrative responsibilities.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- A valid Pennsylvania SLP Credential and Teaching Certificate (required with resume)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative approach
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Primary duties include:
- Delivering speech-language services onsite
- Evaluating and treating students with communication needs
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Maintaining thorough and accurate records
- Participating in team meetings and case management
