Make an impact in the educational community by providing expert psychological services to students in a dynamic, supportive environment. Two contract-based opportunities are available for School Psychologists, each offering the chance to work closely with staff and students to address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs. The assignments run from late August 2026 through March 2027 at a high school, and from October 2026 through January 2027 at an elementary/middle school campus. Both roles are located onsite and require a 35-hour workweek.

Qualifications:

  • Current and active Connecticut School Psychologist license
  • Completion of an accredited school psychology program
  • Previous experience in a K–12 school setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to support student development
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) and behavior plans
  • Offer individual and group counseling to address academic and behavioral challenges
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Participate in crisis intervention and response as needed
  • Provide staff training on mental health topics and intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with district and state guidelines
