Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Current license to practice physical therapy in Massachusetts, or ability to obtain one
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong understanding of school-based service delivery models
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently across two school buildings
Role Overview:
- Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of 11-15 students, supporting their educational and functional development
- Work collaboratively with educators and related service providers across JFK Middle School and Jackson Street Elementary School
- Provide A, B, and C grid IEP services and documentation as required by district procedures (no PTA supervision needed)
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans for students ages K–8
- Maintain timely and accurate records, progress notes, and communication with families and school staff
- Schedule services any 3 days per week (up to 18 hours), lending flexibility to manage your own workflow
