School-Based Physical Therapist - Springfield, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
• Current license to practice physical therapy in Massachusetts, or ability to obtain one
• Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
• Strong understanding of school-based service delivery models
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload independently across two school buildings

Role Overview:

• Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of 11-15 students, supporting their educational and functional development
• Work collaboratively with educators and related service providers across JFK Middle School and Jackson Street Elementary School
• Provide A, B, and C grid IEP services and documentation as required by district procedures (no PTA supervision needed)
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans for students ages K–8
• Maintain timely and accurate records, progress notes, and communication with families and school staff
• Schedule services any 3 days per week (up to 18 hours), lending flexibility to manage your own workflow
• Start making a difference from August 24, 2026, with the potential for full-year involvement with the right professional
