Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license in Connecticut is required
- Previous experience working with children or in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while managing a dynamic, multi-site caseload
- Flexibility to move between multiple school locations as needed
- Commitment to collaboration with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions in accordance with students’ IEPs and district policies
- Document therapy services and student progress in compliance with district and regulatory standards
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students’ access to the educational environment
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding topics related to occupational therapy, accommodations, and supports
- Maintain up-to-date records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings as requested
