Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current, active Occupational Therapist license in Connecticut is required
  • Previous experience working with children or in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing a dynamic, multi-site caseload
  • Flexibility to move between multiple school locations as needed
  • Commitment to collaboration with staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions in accordance with students’ IEPs and district policies
  • Document therapy services and student progress in compliance with district and regulatory standards
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support students’ access to the educational environment
  • Serve as a resource for staff regarding topics related to occupational therapy, accommodations, and supports
  • Maintain up-to-date records and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings as requested
