Qualifications:

• Hold an active Louisiana DOE teaching certificate (Temporary Authority to Teach is not accepted)
• Proven experience or training in teaching general education math at the high school level
• Prepared to complete district-required credentialing, including drug screening and fingerprinting
• Flexible and adaptable to serve at one or more campuses based on assignment
• Dedicated to fostering a positive and engaging learning atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess math instruction aligned with curriculum standards for high school students
• Create supportive, inclusive classroom environments that encourage student growth and participation
• Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and communicate effectively with parents and administrators
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional strategies and share resources
• Maintain accurate records, lesson plans, and attendance in accordance with school policies
• Uphold all district and state policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and respectful classroom
