Your expertise will be instrumental in providing tailored interventions, conducting assessments, and working alongside other professionals to develop effective strategies.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active Washington State SLP License (Dept. of Health)
- Washington State OSPI ESA license with SLP endorsement—must be fully licensed
- SLP-CCC credential preferred
- Experience supporting diverse disabilities across K-12 settings
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and supporting individualized education programs (IEPs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students across grades K-12
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and families
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress
- Deliver both group and individual therapy tailored to a range of disabilities
- Contribute to a positive, supportive school community
