Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Connecticut Special Education Teacher License (with all requisite certifications)

- Effective classroom management and individualized instruction abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and colleagues
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction following students’ Individualized Education Plans
- Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom setting
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and parents to optimize student outcomes
- Assess student progress and document key data for ongoing evaluation
- Ensure compliance with all local and state guidelines for special education
