Job Description
We are seeking a Process Technician to join our dynamic High Temperature Composites team supporting the novel application of Ceramic Matrix Composites. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, and safe handling of industrial materials and a proven ability to execute standardized work to meet production plans and quality standards. This role is 1st shift, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with flexibility to support 2nd or 3rd shift based on business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manufacturing and assembly of components and sub-assemblies to meet production plans and customer requirements.
- Conduct weekly maintenance on equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with standards.
- Follow statutory, health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements, including the Rolls-Royce Quality Management and Production Systems.
- Safely handle compressed gas cylinders and containers of potentially hazardous chemicals.
- Participate in cost reduction and operational improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate and resolve team conflicts in a professional manner to support delivery objectives.
- Work independently and as a team member to complete assigned tasks on time.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance. U.S. citizenship required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs on occasion during a shift.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with compressed gases in industrial processes.
- Detail orientation with an ability to follow procedures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
