Director of Operations

Location: Will have to travel to different sites to meet managers but will mainly be out of 6035 Fairview Rd. Charlotte, NC 28210

Hours: 8am to 5pm

Must-Haves:

• Proven ability to lead and operate a physician practice, with strong engagement skills and the ability to assess and drive operational performance
• Strategic, system-level thinker who can also zoom in on individual practice needs
• 5+ years of operations experience (director title not required; strong managers or individuals ready to step up are welcomed)
• Epic experience
• Demonstrated people leadership and management skills
• Working knowledge of basic financials, including P&Ls and denials management

Plusses:

Day-to-Day:

This role oversees several managers and supervisors, with a strong focus on regular one-on-one meetings to provide guidance, support, and accountability with managers. The leader is highly involved in day-to-day operations, participating in various meetings and responding promptly to issues raised by managers, whether related to HR, operational challenges, or emergencies. Responsibilities include leading a weekly manager meeting by creating and driving engaging agendas, partnering closely with physicians and senior leaders, and addressing questions or concerns as they arise. The role requires constant multitasking in a fast-paced environment and includes recurring weekly meetings that alternate between hands-on working sessions - such as updating competencies or improving processes - and biweekly informational meetings.

Reporting Structure:

This position has 12 direct manager-level reports overseeing operations across more than 18 locations and reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
