Per Diem Pharmacist | Centreville, Virginia

Provide pharmacy services as a PRN Pharmacist supporting a nursing home caring for approximately 50 residents. This role offers daytime weekday hours, focusing on vacation coverage with specific dates throughout the month. It is a per diem position well-suited for candidates seeking flexible, part-time work.

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescription orders for accuracy and completeness
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and nursing staff to ensure timely medication delivery
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and facility protocols
• Use Point Click Care software to document and track medication records
• Support patient safety and optimize resident medication outcomes

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience, preferably in a nursing home or long-term care setting
• Active and clear Virginia pharmacist license
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with Point Click Care or similar pharmacy systems is a plus

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
• Dates needed include days 6, 7, 8, 10, and 11 (vacation coverage)
