Job Description
Make a significant impact on students’ communication skills by bringing your expertise in Speech-Language Pathology to a supportive, collaborative school environment! This full-time contract opportunity offers you the chance to work closely with staff and students spanning three schools, focusing on grades 5 and above for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.
The role involves managing a caseload of around 90 students, with approximately 30 for whom you’ll be providing dedicated case management services. You’ll work alongside educators and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies, all within a nurturing atmosphere designed to facilitate student growth and achievement.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Experience in school-based settings working with grades 5 and above preferred
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students per IEPs and school standards
- Evaluate and assess student speech and language needs
- Case manage approximately 30 students, including developing, documenting, and monitoring IEPs
- Consult with families, teachers, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes
- Participate in meetings and collaborate on program development within three different school environments
