Bring your expertise in educational psychology to a rewarding role supporting students from PreK through 5th grade. This full-year contract position offers you the chance to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant school environment. If your availability is part-time, opportunities may also be available.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services for approximately 68 students, ranging from PreK to 5th grade.
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and intervention planning.
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to foster student success.
- Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans.
- Utilize data-driven strategies to promote positive student outcomes.
- Consult with teachers and administrators regarding best practices in behavior management and academic interventions.
- Contribute to a positive educational climate through proactive problem-solving and advocacy for students.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist required.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
- Familiarity with special education processes and evaluations.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
