Job Description
Bring your expertise in school psychology to a rewarding full-time contract role supporting elementary students in a vibrant educational environment near Camden Wyoming, DE. As a valued school psychologist, you will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to provide assessments, counseling, and interventions, making a real impact on student success and well-being. This is an on-site position at 37.5 hours per week, with potential for a hybrid schedule.
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license as required by the state
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience working with elementary-age students in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, teachers, and support staff
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students
- Provide individual and group counseling services
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans in collaboration with staff
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and social-emotional needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility, placement, and service decisions
- Maintain accurate, timely records and reports in accordance with school and district policies
