You’ll play a vital role assisting students with varying health needs throughout the school day, ensuring a safe and responsive environment. Comprehensive orientation and training will be provided at the district office before your assignment begins.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Florida LPN license in good standing
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous school-based nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and compassionate patient care
- Organized with the ability to respond to diverse student needs on a daily basis
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide basic health support and assist with medication administration
- Respond to health emergencies and document care accurately
- Collaborate with school staff and parents as needed
- Uphold district health and safety policies
- Participate in monthly orientation/training sessions as required
