Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in California
- Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
- Familiarity with working with diverse K-12 student populations
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting their educational access and participation
- Develop and update individualized treatment programs tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Work with teachers, aides, and other education professionals to integrate OT strategies into classroom activities
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and documentation as needed
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Engage with families to educate and support carryover of therapeutic activities at home
