Occupational Therapist School Setting in Hornbrook, CA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in California
• Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy strongly preferred
• Familiarity with working with diverse K-12 student populations
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, supporting their educational access and participation
• Develop and update individualized treatment programs tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Work with teachers, aides, and other education professionals to integrate OT strategies into classroom activities
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and documentation as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
• Engage with families to educate and support carryover of therapeutic activities at home
