Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Connecticut
  • Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites as part of your weekly 35-hour schedule
  • Adaptable, organized, and committed to positive student outcomes

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite occupational therapy services to students at various school locations
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized plans tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to implement strategies that promote academic and social participation
  • Document progress, maintain required records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment district-wide
