Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP licensure in Illinois or eligibility to obtain
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required
  • Previous experience providing services in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and multicultural skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication difficulties
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs, ensuring alignment with educational goals
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to empower student progress and inclusion
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver therapy sessions—individually and in small groups—in both Spanish and English, ensuring culturally responsive care
  • Participate in parent meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with educational staff
