What You'll Do

As a Fiber Ops Supervisor, you’ll split your time between field and operations duties, leading from the front and setting the standard for excellence

  • Supervise and support broadband technicians in installation and service fulfillment
  • Ride along in the field to observe, coach, and develop technical and customer service skills
  • Interview, train, mentor, and evaluate technicians to build a strong team culture
  • Foster a performance-driven, safety-focused work environment
  • Ensure quality installations and repairs meet company and customer standards
  • Oversee daily scheduling and completion of assigned work
  • Monitor KPIs and technician performance metrics; close performance gaps
  • Manage contract labor and supervise contracted installers
  • Resolve complex technical and customer issues
  • Promote and enforce safety policies and procedures
  • Conduct vehicle, tool, and material inspections
  • Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service aligned with company values


Required Qualifications

  • Previous lead or supervisory experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge and experience of broadband technology, installation methods, and electronics
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Customer service and sales experience is preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs (accommodations available up to 50 lbs) and feel comfortable climbing ladders (up to 28 ft), poles, and working at heights
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Frequent travel between job sites


Work Environment

This role combines office responsibilities, field supervision, and hands-on technical support. You’ll work outdoors in varying weather conditions and be active throughout the day: climbing, walking, inspecting, and leading from the front. Occasional evenings or weekends may be required to support operations, training, or emergency response.
