Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Pediatrics
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a growing pediatric therapy team in Picayune, MS. This full-time opportunity focuses exclusively on treating pediatric patients in a supportive, collaborative environment where clinicians are empowered to provide individualized, high-quality care.
ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive speech-language evaluations for pediatric patients.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical findings.
Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services.
Assess and treat communication, language, articulation, fluency, voice, and feeding/swallowing disorders as appropriate.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to maximize outcomes.
Educate parents and caregivers on home programs and carryover strategies.
Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
Foster a positive, patient-centered therapy environment.
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Mississippi or eligibility for licensure.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred (Clinical Fellows may also be considered, if applicable).
Experience treating pediatric patients preferred.
Strong evaluation, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
