Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Health Insurance Agent for a contract opportunity supporting individual medical plan retention and member service within the insurance industry. This role is ideal for a licensed insurance professional who enjoys helping members understand coverage options, navigate plan changes, and make informed decisions that support continued enrollment.

This is a primarily work-from-home position with onsite attendance expected for onboarding, training, or as required by management. The environment is structured, service-focused, and team-oriented, with clear training, supportive leadership, and collaboration across sales, customer service, underwriting, and member support teams. Candidates who are confident on the phone, comfortable working across multiple systems, and motivated by helping members find the right coverage fit can be successful in this role.

Assignment dates are currently scheduled for 9/14/2026 through 1/31/2027 and are subject to change.

Key Responsibilities
- Re-sell individual medical plans to existing members across applicable states to support member retention.
- Contact at-risk members by phone or written communication to review concerns, address cancellation requests, and reduce lapse rates.
- Provide detailed plan analysis, explain the value of current coverage, discuss alternatives, and recommend appropriate plan changes.
- Counsel members during rate increases or other situations where they may be considering leaving their current plan.
- Partner with underwriting to identify alternate plan options when a selected plan is not available due to rate changes or other enrollment factors.
- Maintain accurate documentation while managing multiple systems, calls, and member follow-up activities.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay: $62,400 per year.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Orange County / Los Angeles region
- Work arrangement: Primarily virtual work from home, with onsite attendance required for onboarding, training, or as directed by management.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, with shifts scheduled between 8:30am and 9:00pm EST.
- Candidates must be available to work all shifts and may be required to work alternate shifts based on business need.
- Weekend work and overtime may be required as business needs dictate.
- Training schedule: 7:30am to 4:00pm PST, coordinated by time zone.
- No time off requests will be accepted during training.
- Work-from-home requirement: Must have a quiet, private workspace.
- Internet requirement: Must have 100 Mbps high-speed internet.
- Wi-Fi is not permitted. Candidates must be able to connect by short Ethernet cable directly to the router.
