We are hiring! Our client is seeking a Shipping & Delivery Specialist to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. This unique role combines shipping, logistics, inventory support, and local customer deliveries. You'll be the final quality checkpoint before products reach customers, ensuring every order is accurate, complete, and delivered professionally.

What You'll DoShipping, Packaging & Delivery
  • Prepare, package, verify, and process outbound shipments of cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and related products.

  • Verify customer information, part numbers, revision levels, quantities, labels, and documentation before every shipment.

  • Generate and review packing slips, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Conformance, and customer-specific shipping documents.

  • Coordinate shipments using UPS, FedEx, LTL carriers, couriers, and other transportation providers.

  • Safely load company vehicles and ensure products are secured for transport.

  • Complete local customer deliveries in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.

  • Serve as a positive representative of Salt Lake Cable & Harness during customer interactions.

  • Maintain accurate shipping records and ERP/MRP transactions.

  • Identify and report discrepancies before shipments leave the facility.

Inventory & Warehouse Support
  • Receive and verify incoming materials.

  • Label inventory and maintain accurate product identification.

  • Assist with inventory transactions and cycle counts.

  • Support material movement and staging for production.

  • Help investigate inventory discrepancies and maintain organized inventory locations.

Quality & Safety
  • Follow ISO 9001, AS9100, customer, and company procedures.

  • Maintain complete product and material traceability.

  • Verify shipping documentation for accuracy and completeness.

  • Operate company vehicles and material handling equipment safely.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

QualificationsRequired
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Minimum 2 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or related experience

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy

Preferred
  • Experience in cable and wire harness manufacturing

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality standards

  • Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)

  • Understanding of FIFO inventory practices, lot control, and traceability

Physical Requirements

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
