School Psychologist | Cypress, Texas

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-12 students as a school psychologist during the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity runs from July 27th through May 27th, offering consistent, full-time hours (37.5 weekly) in a supportive educational environment near Cypress, TX. You'll work at two to three locations, providing valuable services to a diverse caseload of approximately 60-80 students and conducting 8-10 evaluations each month.

Ideal candidates are skilled in supporting students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs within a school setting. Your role will be integral to promoting student well-being and collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility in Texas)
• Solid background in psychoeducational assessment, report writing, and interpreting evaluation results
• Experience providing counseling, consultation, and intervention in K-12 settings
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education law
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to balance responsibilities across multiple school sites

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred through the special education process
• Provide direct and consultative support to students, families, and staff
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
• Deliver short-term counseling and behavioral interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely completion of reports
• Travel between 2-3 school sites within the district to meet caseload needs
