Make a difference in elementary students' lives by providing speech and language services in a supportive educational setting this fall. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) interested in covering a maternity leave from September through November. You'll work with a manageable caseload of elementary-aged children with mild to moderate communication needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Valid license to practice as an SLP
  • At least 2 years of experience working in school settings
  • Strong understanding of elementary student development and communication disorders
  • Excellent collaboration and written/verbal communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students with mild to moderate needs, following IEP goals
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to inform treatment planning
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions, progress notes, and reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members to support students’ progress
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
  • Complete all assigned duties during the September–November maternity leave coverage period
