Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required for SLP applicants
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and adaptability
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services tailored to students’ individual education plans
- Assess and document students’ progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Coordinate with educators, school staff, and parents to develop effective intervention strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, offering insights and recommendations
- Deliver services in compliance with all state and federal guidelines
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
Role Details:
- Contract dates: August 24, 2026, through June 16, 2027
- Part-time schedule: 6.5 hours per week
- Working hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm, with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break
