School Psychologist in New Britain, CT

Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to a rewarding contract position supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development. Two onsite roles are available, both serving schools near New Britain, CT. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help create a positive, supportive school environment.

Your assignments are as follows:

• One position at a high school from late August 2026 through March 2027.
• Another at an elementary school from late October 2026 through mid-January 2027.Both roles are full-time, at 35 hours per week.

Required Qualifications:

• Current, active Connecticut School Psychologist license
• Experience in school-based psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Dedication to fostering student growth and advocating for student needs
• Flexibility to work onsite daily during school hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement data-driven intervention plans
• Provide direct and indirect support to students with academic and behavioral challenges
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Offer crisis intervention and contribute to positive behavior support programs
• Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential records in accordance with legal and ethical standards
