Required Qualifications:

  • Valid NM PED Level II or III School Psychologist certification
  • Background in providing psychological services within K-12 environments
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and crisis response
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Knowledge of current best practices in school psychology
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students
  • Deliver individual and group counseling services
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor IEPs and 504 plans
  • Collaborate with educators to implement behavioral and academic supports
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and conflict resolution as needed
  • Engage in consultation and professional development to ensure effective student outcomes
