Multiple full-time positions are available—one at the middle school level and three at the high school level, with concentrations in Science, Math, and Social Studies. Key Qualifications:

• Active state teaching certification/licensure required for assigned caseload
• Bachelor’s degree mandatory for emergency teaching permit
• Valid and current PA clearances, or ability to obtain
• Proven classroom and behavioral management expertise
• Demonstrated strength in subject area—Science, Math, Social Studies (for high school assignments)
• Experience teaching or working in schools, especially in urban settings
• Reliable transportation and punctuality for set hours; no schedule adjustments permitted

Essential Responsibilities:

• Teach and support diverse learners in accordance with established IEPs and curriculum requirements
• Develop and adapt lesson plans aligned to state and district standards, using assessment data for differentiation
• Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom focused on academic and social growth
• Coordinate with support staff, general educators, and administration for optimal student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and all required professional development
• Uphold standards for professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to the school community

Role Details:

• Full-time, contract position, 35 hours per week
• Multiple shift schedules: Middle School (8:30AM-4PM or 8AM-3:15PM), High School (7:15AM-2:45PM)
