Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Minnesota teaching license with valid dual certification in Special Education (PDF of license required with application)
  • Experience supporting diverse learners in elementary grades (K-5) preferred
  • Proven ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Comfortable working full-time, 37.5 hours per week throughout the school year

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver resource support and specialized instruction to students identified for special education services
  • Develop, monitor, and update IEPs in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams
  • Modify general education curriculum to meet individual student needs as outlined in IEPs
  • Track and report progress towards goals, maintaining accurate records
  • Employ various evidence-based strategies to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, administrators, and specialists for consistent student support
