Occupational Therapist School Setting in Brighton, CO

Make a meaningful impact in the school setting by supporting students’ growth and independence. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Occupational Therapist looking to work onsite with a manageable caseload in the upcoming academic year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapy license (required)
• Experience providing OT services in a school-based environment strongly preferred
• Knowledge of best practices for pediatric OT and IEP development
• Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with students, staff, and families
• Collaborative spirit and commitment to supporting student success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 20 students
• Conduct assessments, develop, and implement treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Work closely with educators, support staff, and families to set and monitor student goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress per school and state guidelines
• Promote functional independence and participation for all students on your caseload
• Maintain compliance with documentation and confidentiality standards

Position Details:

• Contract position spanning the 2026-2027 school year
• Part-time schedule: approximately 1.5 days per week (16 hours total)
• Services delivered onsite only; virtual work is not an option
