Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech)

As a CT Tech, you will operate advanced CT imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images, support emergency and inpatient imaging needs, administer contrast media when indicated, and collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure timely, accurate diagnoses. • • 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM
  • 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
• Location: Facility-Based Assignment
• Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Administer contrast media and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained and properly documented.
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to radiation protection standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Certification required; CT certification preferred.
• Current state licensure, if applicable.
• Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and patient care practices.
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills.
