Join our team as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist and play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging that helps physicians accurately diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions. As a CT Tech, you will operate advanced CT imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images, support emergency and inpatient imaging needs, administer contrast media when indicated, and collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure timely, accurate diagnoses. - Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: 40 Hours per Week
- Shift Options:
- 6:00 PM – 4:30 AM
- 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Location: Facility-Based Assignment
- Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans according to physician orders and facility protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
- Administer contrast media and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained and properly documented.
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to radiation protection standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT Certification required; CT certification preferred.
- Current state licensure, if applicable.
- Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and patient care practices.
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills.
