VIP Staffing is Immediately hiring a Punch Press Operator
This is a Full time Temp to hire position with a schedule of Monday- Thursday 7am-5pm
Pay for this position will be $15-$17 per hour DOE
We are seeking a reliable Press Operator to join our production team. This is an entry-level role with onsite training provided. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and efficiency.
As a Punch Press Operator you will:
- Set up and operate press machinery in accordance with work orders and safety standards
- Perform repetitive press operations with consistent accuracy
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional tolerances
- Monitor machine performance and report issues or defects
- Maintain clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Punch Press Operator candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 6 months experience in a production or relatable environment
- Have a willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions- training provided
- Have a Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Be comfortable working with parts from 1/8" up to 2"
- Ability to perform repetitive work with precision
- Have basic math skills for measuring and checking tolerances
- Be reliable with attendance and ability to work your scheduled shift
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift parts and materials up to 50 lbs. on your own
- Be comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
