Details:

• Onsite
• Full-Time (32 Hours Per Week)
• 2nd Grade Caseload
• Collaborative Instructional Classroom
• Focus on inclusive classroom support with limited pull-out service

Education and Certification:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field
• Active Virginia Special Education Teaching License required
• Previous elementary or collaborative classroom experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction in a collaborative classroom setting
• Partner with general education teachers to support student learning and inclusion
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Track student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements
• Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for 2nd-grade students
