Special Education Teacher in Euclid, OH

Qualifications:

• ODE OH K-12 Intervention Specialist certification required
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Experience with high school aged students strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload (approx. 24 students)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students
• Provide direct instruction and classroom support in alignment with each student’s needs
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff
