Step into a pivotal leadership role supporting middle school students’ growth and success as an Evaluation Team Leader for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic year. This full-time, onsite opportunity offers you the chance to shape the educational journey of students in collaboration with dedicated professionals.

As an Evaluation Team Leader, you will coordinate and facilitate all aspects of the special education process for grades 6–8. Your daily work will ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, foster positive relationships among staff and families, and maintain excellence in individualized education planning. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee compliance with special education regulations under M.G.L. 71B and 603 CMR 28.00.
• Act as a liaison among students, families, staff, school leaders, and community agencies to foster strong support systems.
• Coordinate and finalize IEPs for assigned caseloads, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Attend required professional development as designated by the Bureau of Pupil Services.
• Collaborate with school leadership and participate actively in team meetings.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a closely related field.
• Massachusetts certification as a Teacher for Students with Moderate Disabilities preferred; other DESE licenses considered.
• Minimum three years of successful public school experience.
• Professional experience in special education, counseling, guidance, or psychology.
• Demonstrated success working in diverse communities and with children and adults with special needs.
• Empathy and strong communication skills are essential.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to pass drug screening, fingerprinting, and background/CORI checks.
• Provide active Massachusetts license, resume, and relevant documentation.
