Job Details
- Full-Time schedule
- School-based contract assignment
- Caseloads may include PreK, elementary, middle, or high school students
- Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students
- Multiple school sites may be assigned based on district needs
- Travel candidates encouraged to apply also (tax-free stipends available to those who qualify)
- Competitive Pay: $40+ an hour, depending on experience
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Florida Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate students’ functional and developmental needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain documentation compliance
- Support students in achieving educational and functional goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
