Soliant Education is seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based contract opportunity in Ocala, FL. This position offers an excellent opportunity to support students in a collaborative educational environment.

Job Details

  • Full-Time schedule
  • School-based contract assignment
  • Caseloads may include PreK, elementary, middle, or high school students
  • Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students
  • Multiple school sites may be assigned based on district needs
  • Travel candidates encouraged to apply also (tax-free stipends available to those who qualify)
  • Competitive Pay: $40+ an hour, depending on experience

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Florida Occupational Therapist license required
  • Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate students’ functional and developmental needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain documentation compliance
  • Support students in achieving educational and functional goals
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports
