Job Description
An exciting full-time contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Adaptive Physical Education Teacher (APE) to support students in California. Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Previous experience working with children or within school-based environments preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong commitment to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement adaptive physical education programs tailored to students' varied needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to support student success
- Evaluate student progress and adapt strategies to maximize engagement and participation
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and communicate regularly with the educational team
- Foster a safe, motivating, and inclusive environment for all students
