Make Ready Technician
Job Description
Pay: $18/hr Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
Opportunity: Contract-to-Hire
Join a busy apartment community where you'll help prepare apartments for new residents and support daily maintenance needs. This hands-on role is ideal for someone experienced in unit turns, general repairs, and fast-paced property operations.
Job Description- Complete unit turns and make-ready tasks.
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs.
- Install hardware and troubleshoot appliances.
- Prepare apartments for new resident move-ins.
- Complete unit turns, including repairs, touch-ups, and cleaning.
- Perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
- Replace fixtures, hardware, and basic components.
- Maintain safe work practices and proper tool usage.
- Communicate progress and completed work with onsite staff.
- Previous experience as a Make Ready Technician or Apartment Maintenance Technician.
- General maintenance skills including:
- Basic electrical
- Basic plumbing
- Carpentry and hardware installation
- Appliance troubleshooting
- Must have your own basic hand tools.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and prolonged standing.
