LHH is partnering with a local CPA firm on a search for a Tax Manager/Tax Director who will work hybrid for their office in Walnut Creek, CA. The Tax Manager will assume responsibility for managing a substantial existing client portfolio while serving as a key advisor to business owners, high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and fiduciary entities. This individual will work closely with firm leadership to ensure continuity of service, support future growth initiatives, and eventually transition into a partnership role. This position offers significant visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to become an integral part of the firm's next generation of leadership. - Active CPA license required
- 15+ years of public accounting tax experience required
- Experience managing a client book of business
