Work Type: Full time, onsite, contract to possible hire Compensation: $25-30/hr Responsibilities
  • Enter, update, and maintain client, case, and legal matter information in case management systems and databases.
  • Review documents for accuracy and completeness before filing or processing.
  • Organize, scan, upload, and maintain electronic and physical legal files.
  • Assist with the preparation, formatting, and proofreading of legal correspondence and documents.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and legal notices.
  • File legal documents with courts, agencies, and other entities as directed.
  • Track deadlines, document requests, and case-related activities.
  • Maintain records of client communications and case updates.
  • Assist attorneys and legal staff with administrative projects and reporting.
  • Answer phones, greet clients, and direct inquiries as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality requirements and firm policies.
  • Perform other administrative and data entry duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or Paralegal coursework preferred.
  • 1+ years of administrative, legal support, data entry, or office experience preferred.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with legal case management software preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, court filings, or legal documentation is a plus.
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
